Merchants fees: Only required to Pay Entrance Fee
Merchants are required to be set up for the entirety of Saturday (10 Am-6Pm)

The Autocrats have requested that each merchant donate an item to a Bag Raffle Fundraiser.

Simplified Directions:
Take the I-15 South to Spanish Fork Utah Take State Route 6 South East until it hits I-70 Follow I-70 East to Crescent Junction and Turn south on the 191 Follow to Moab.

From Denver

Take the I-15 North to Flagstaff. From there follow the 89 North Turn East Towards Yuba City and Follow 160 East until Mexican Water. Turn North on the 191 an drive North to Moab.

Arts and Science Competition

There will be an Arts and Science Competition held during Middle Eastern War. All artisans are invited to submit and entry. There will be two parts to the competition a Judged competition and a popular choice competition. Prizes will be awarded in both.

Any entry will be accepted with proper documentation. Entrants are encouraged to try and enter "Silk Road" themed works.

Heavy Scenarios

Burning Sands battle:
Both sides face off with a large area in between. The large area is laden with deadly hot spots. Any fighter who inadvertently steps in one is considered dead. Timed battle or whoever kills the other side first.

Capture the General:
Both sides must attempt to capture the opposing General. Timed battle.

Oasis of Doom:
A small force with the strategic upper hand must defend against the marauding hordes coming from all sides. 2 or 3 resurrections for the attackers depending on the number of fighters available.

The Infamous Forty Thieves free for all:
All fighters assemble in a small area. Each has a bag of "gold". They fight with single sword and no shields. Kill your opponent and take his "gold'. The "thief" with the most gold IN HIS HANDS when time is called, is named mostbackstabbingist. Killing from behind is encouraged because of the nature of the thieves.
Evil caveat: If A bag of gold is dropped on the ground it is called dead but causes the first dead thief in line to resurrect. He grabs the bag and re-joins the battle. Yes, dead "thieves" line up on the side.

Steal the King's prized stallion.
Small group tactics battle. A small force defends the stallion. An even smaller force must break into the stable, steal the horse and escape with the horse. Timed battle. Rotates through multiple groups. Stealing group with the best time wins.

Middle Eastern War 2009 to be held in Moab Utah

On behalf of the Province of Arrows' Flight Middle Eastern War 2009 will be held in Moab, Utah which falls in the Incipient Riding of Redbridge. Join us, May 8th-10th, among the fantastic red rocks of Southern Utah as we celebrate the Medieval Middle East.

Autocrating the Event will be Oriana and Ramon de Javier.
